One of the questions that I get asked constantly is "What do I do on my off days?".
My answer is simply just "MOVE", ok ok but really what should I do? Well lets look at Luke Bryan's new hit single for some ideas!

Lyric References and Ideas from "MOVE"
1.) "Boots on, stomp your feet"
I mean look at this video from "Footloose", I see ankle mobilization, coordination patterns, lateral movement, and plyometrics. Reminds me off a dynamic warm-up!

2.) "DJ playin' that throwback tune"
And when the DJ throws that throw back song on you can always "Get Up, Stand Up" and of course "Throw your hands up" and "Get out your seat and jump around!". Sounds like a song from the House of Pain!
Furthermore, I see jumping as a great way to strengthen the legs, gain explosive power, and help strengthen joints to help prevent injuries. So, it only sounds right to just "Jump Around" on your off days!

3.) "Come on, I wanna see you"
But wait when you just can't wait to see your significant other you can always try what Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey did in the lift scene of the famous "Dirty Dancing". I see an unbelievable amount of balance, shoulder stabilization, and core strength.

In conclusion, the idea is to just move! It doesn't have to be dancing and some of these moves might not be for you. However, that's not the point. Just recently I have been doing a push-up challenge that takes about 40 seconds out of my day and is for a great cause. It's simple and doesn't take long but I have done 110 push-ups over the last 5 days. How many people can say that? Point made, have a good day and do something productive!
